If you’re looking for an authentic and serene springtime experience in Japan, Dake Onsen is something truly unforgettable. Sakurazaka (Cherry Blossom Hill) in Dake Onsen, Nihonmatsu City, is one of the most beautiful cherry blossom spots in Fukushima Prefecture.

"Milky Day" at Dakeonsen is on a day where the natural yubana (hot spring minerals or “hot water flowers”) are stirred up and released into the baths. This causes the normally clear onsen water to turn into a milky white color, rich with minerals and offering a different sensory experience than usual.
